A document of our life with Anders and Kuba, filled with photo's, moments, and stories which capture the essence of our life. Who knew that life with two boys and two moms could be this good, or this nutty?

Hands
I think I've written about this somewhere in this blog before, but my kids love to hold hands. Anders especially will scoop up Kuba's hand often and just hold on. It's sweet. It's predicable. It's my guess that it's comforting, warm, and secure feeling. I snapped this of them this morning. I glanced over at them and saw this and quickly got my camera. Love. Nothing better between brothers.

What He Needs
Anders wants and needs a dog. We know it, he knows it, and now we are edging closer and closer to the dog kind of family. Not quite there yet, but closer. Here he is with his cousins new pup...and seriously in love with this puppy. He even wrote a persuasive letter to us about why he should have a puppy. I figure he's only 10 months away from his tenth birthday....that seems about right to me.
Easter - 2014
Easter 2014
It was a fun Easter this year - lots going on that was festive and celebratory...
Family, friends, decorating eggs, making chocolate, hunting for eggs, eating jellybeans, dancing, playing outside (the weather has made a turn for the best), Pippi the new puppy, gathering spring flowers, and all around good and needed cheer. Uncle Paul came from Buffalo, Uncle Claes came from NH, cousins, my sister, grandma, grandpa, mormor and our friends all rounded out this holiday.
Best parts: Kids joy at baskets and egg hunting, Lea as the Easter bunny, dancing! (the macarena, the polka, and especially the chicken dance.)

My Streak of Tigers
This is the term used to describe tigers who move together. And here are my two tigers who do move together- united, unbelievably loyal, loving, and wild boys. They had their faces painted recently and each chose to be a tiger. The artist was smart enough to make a slight color change to show they are both tigers, but different from one another. This is so true for my boys. One is wildly extroverted and one more quiet and internal. Both absolutely beautiful and kind. Both kinesthetic and graceful like a cat. Both connected to those they love in powerful ways. This probably describes them more than anything, they are big hearted creatures, absolutely roaring through this life.
