Sometimes, just sometimes we get some great photo's of the boys, but it seems never a close up.  I took these of the boys when we were wandering around a beach near our house in Malmö.

Tired

After a long walk and lots of exploring already, Anna and I really wanted to see an exhibit on Swedish Design, Oomph, Women Who Made Sweden Colorful.  The kids were tired by then and not inspired to visit yet another exhibit.  But of course, it feels like they think of everything here, especially when it comes to children.  At this installation, they had a great block set up and cozy rug for kids to play at.  Anders and Kuba spent time here while Anna and I took in the exhibit on our own.

Anders lost his first molar today in Malmö, Sweden.  I wonder if he'll get dollars or krona under his pillow? 

Svenskt godis

Believe it or not, candy is a big part of life in Sweden.  Candy aisles in the grocery store are long and the variety is endless.   It's also beautiful candy.   Saturdays are godis day in Sweden, the day of the week when children are allowed to eat candy.  I think they just get kanelbullar the other days...wink, wink.  The photo's above are just some snapshots of the places we have stopped to lust after the godis.  Of course the boys have already had a lot of candy, and yes we have already bought LOTS of candy, but we are bringing it home to our friends and family in the states.

Stockholm - Our first family visit

We visited Stockholm on this trip to Sweden, visiting Anna's Aunt Gudrun and her children and grandchildren.  The boys met all the cousins and second cousins on her dad's side.  We met up with Barbro and Kajsa, Gustav and Torun.  Together we visited many museums and spend 2 days taking in as much as we could across the city.  We traveled by foot, city bus, ferry and train.  We enjoyed the big city of Stokholm, but quite honestly, the beauty and quiet of Ringso made it difficulty for us to feel as appreciative of city life.
