Top o’ the Mornin’ to Ya!

That sneaky leprechaun!! Things are shape shifting all around ,  even though the holiday is the same - the players have changed.  We are not in Kansas anymore!  The addition of Morgan and Clara to the mix make all the holidays  totally new.  I love having girlfriends in the house!  And so does the leprechaun!

N I N E T E E N

Officially nineteen!!  

It was such a fabulous celebration of Anders!  

Delicious meal, delicious cake!  And he was just so darn happy.  

Yeah, to 19!! Yeah, to Anders!  

You are such an amazing son - so steady, so smart, so fun, so loving, so loyal!!!  We love you so much! 

 

Friday Night Fun

It was movie last night last night.  

We wanted to watch a thriller so I picked one called Fracture. It was a bit weird right from the get-go.  It was about a man who was driving home on Thanksgiving  with his wife and daughter.  It ended up that along the way his daughter fell into a construction site pit (at a gas station) and they rushed her to the hospital ER. Next, while the man was waiting for his daughter and wife to come back from getting a test- he fell asleep.  When he woke up and went to find them the hospital had no record of them.  This was the bulk of the movie, him going crazy over finding his daughter and wife, in this weird hospital   In the end he had a psychotic break.  He just imagined all of it.  In reality- his daughter died when she fell into the pit, and he accidentally killed his wife right after by pushing her.  The movie was creepy and confusing and gory AND in fact it was so hard to watch that Kuba had to leave the room and go to the bathroom saying he was lightheaded.  Next, I heard a giant clunk and sure enough, he fainted- right on the floor on the bathroom.  He hit his arm, leg, and butt.  It was soooo unbelievable!  Yet true! Who would believe this!  I had no idea this could even happen!  Even as a little kid he was very susceptible to the wrong movies. I’m not picking the next one!  

Winter Ball 2024

 This dude went to the BHS Winter Ball with Keats and other friends. He reported that he had a great time.  He certainly looked like he was going to based on these pre-dance snapshots. 

Valentine’s 2024

Delight is a word that captures the mood of Valentine’s Day.  It was indeed a delightful day, and included our traditional boxed and house valentines made by Anna and me, as well as the latest addition- Anders made a sweet valentine for Morgan. Now that the boys have girlfriends it seems even more Valentine-y over here. And of course - we had our third year in a row of our valentine dinner with heart cake and friends.  This years cake had a little red heart sparkler on it!  Delightful!
