Off To See The Wizard!

Halloween was a fun one this year.  Kuba had a party with his friends out in the barn. His BIG 4 group dressed as Wizard of Oz characters, and I was sewing up to the last minute to get him to be the best scarecrow ever.  Siena was Dorothy, Keats was the Tinman, and Juliana was the Cowardly Lion. They all looked amazing. Even the ruby slippers were awesome!  There were also a bunch of bugs, and some characters from a game that I can't remember the name of, and a pirate also rolled in.  Can we talk about how lucky his is to have such an amazing group of friends??    Well, he is.  They all are.  

 

 

HOCO Shenanigans

This year's homecoming was at Echo, and Kuba and his friends had a pre-party and post-party at Siena's.  Everyone looked lovely and they had such a good time at Siena's, though did not love the Echo venue....they couldn't even see the creatures, and it was too small and hot!

Costa Rica Here He Comes!

 

Our boy just left for a semester abroad - in Costa Rica! 

We had all the feels over here as he packed up and got ready.
There's all sorts of wildlife in the rainforest and where he is headed, which is thrilling for him, a little less so for me, who worries about all the venomous and poisonous creatures.   

But, we know him well, and he's a very steady, very smart, very capable guy, so I have faith.
