Rowing

Both boys are rowing this year for the first time ever!  Kuba's a novice and Anders is a senior.  They both love it.

Recently they had a meet nearby and some of the boats did well, and one of their boats got stuck on a rock in the middle of the river!  It doesn't matter!  They had a blast and that is what counts!

Finally, A Live Performance!

Kuba's orchestra finally got to perform live!  Covid has taken away so many performances, that we were so excited to see him perform along with his friends.

Two Scripts, One Night

Kuba was hired to read a script for a local screenwriter. He was a character in a film called, Be My Backpack, written by local screenwriter, James Lantz. He first read in a recording studio and then was called back to do a live reading of the script at a local restaurant. It was super fun to watch and Kuba was so good at it!

Pride Parade 2022

Proud of my boys.

Fika

Finally, after being home from Sweden for weeks and weeks, we baked a lot of Swedish pastries, put out a lot of Swedish candy, and invited friends over.  We also showed some of the best slides from our trip.

Kaj's Pies

Pizza night at the park.
We joined our local corner store's anniversary party at the park next door and sold pizza pies for the night.  Sandy and I made them inside, while Anna and the boys and Peter and Jen sold them out in the park.  We made 45 pizza's that night! It was busy and fun and of course the Pizza was fantastic.  Kaj's pies are delicious!

Lucky Us

Found this abandoned building on our way to visit Paul Smith College this weekend.  Perfect sentiment.
