Growth Spurts

After 13 years, I'm revisiting what it was like to have an infant who grows out of a whole size every few months.  This is unreal!  BOTH of the boys are busting out of their clothes - regularly.  I've been thrown into a dizzying state of confusion about what sizes to buy and where the hell to buy them, and then watching as the new clothes quickly become too small way too soon.  Leg length, arm length, foot size, waist size...you name it - big, bigger, biggest.  They seem to be at the tippy top of the boys clothing size range - or out of it altogether, and my favorite haunts for boys clothes just don't carry their new sizes.  In a nutshell - I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO SHOP ANYMORE!  And I'm the shopping mom.  I can't tell you how many times I've ordered a round of clothes in a variety of sizes only to ship them back because ALL of them were too small.  We used to buy one pair of sneakers per year and this year there is no way the boys can even fit in the sneakers they wore back in September.   It's such a noticeable shift in their growth and development that it needs to be marked and written about and marveled at!  WOW!  RRRIP!  Screak!  POP!
