Autumn

It's been an absolutely gorgeous fall and we have spent a lot of time out of doors.

You can see that it is 100% worth it.

The Count of Monte Cristo

"All human wisdom is contained in these two words: "Wait and hope."

"The difference between treason and patriotism is only a matter of dates."

Alexandre Dumas

WOW!  What fun!  The latest adult play at Very Merry was The Count of Monte Cristo.  We especially love this play because Kuba had read the book this summer and updated us chapter by chapter as he read.  It's a very thick book, and we all loved it and know it well now.  When Very Merry announced that they were doing the play - Anders, Morgan, Jamie and Lea all auditioned!
Anders got the lead, playing Edmond Dante!  Morgan played his true love Mercedes. Jamie and Lea also had roles in the play which really made it another big family affair.  It was so much fun to watch.  Attached below are some videos of Anders performing.
